Free HTML Editors

You don’t really need any kind of special editor to write HTML. Something like notepad will do just fine for basic stuff. The advantage of using something like the HTML editors below is that code is highlighted, making it easier to spot mistakes. They may also offer some code completion help, previews of the code, and help in organising files.

I haven't tried some of these editors but thought I would include them all to make this a useful resource. If anyone has experience with any of these editors please leave a comment.

Pspad is my weapon of choice at the moment, it loads fast and is simple to use. It supports many languages, where syntax is highlighted in pretty colours. It has a built in browser for previewing code.
